Movie Critique - Due Date

If you are looking for a movie filled with laughs and ridiculous stunts then due date is the movie for you. One man has to travel across the country to make it in time for the birth of his first child, but is forced to accept help from a person with more problems than you can count. In the time that he spends with this man he has to survive a car crash and escape from from prison. Most of his problems are related to setbacks caused by this mentally insane man that includes his problem of randomly falling asleep and use of marijuana.
As if it was not enough for the man to have to travel with this crazy guy he learns that his child could belong to one of his wifes past partners which stirs up many emotion in him that some people can take as a very sad event, but your spirits get immediately lifted by even more crazy stunts and situations that you do not see every day. They go through many interesting places like the grand canyon and the border between the united states and mexico which they somehow mistook for a gas station (texico). Most jokes are not very hard to understand so its funny for all ages however it is probably not appropriate for younger viewers due to some mature content. If you can understand all of the jokes then you should definitely watch this movie because it has a lot of funny situations and always keeps you wondering what could possibly go wrong now? Even though it seems like the duo hit rock bottom they fall even lower and you can't help, but cry with laughter. Though thoughts of suicide can't seem to get out of this soon to be fathers head he finds the good in Ethan and they develop a friendship close to the end of the movie.
Not only is this movie fun to watch, but it has plot twists too that can either warm your heart or feel anger towards one of the other characters. This baby caused Peter to go through a lot of pain, but there are good aspects as well.
If you like to laugh and like crazy stints as well then due date is definitely a movie that you would not want to miss.
